Our History
Mikkelsen Aggregates was established in 1989 in Bottineau, ND by Monte Mikkelsen. We started with a small screen plant, loader, and a couple of dump trucks, growing to meet the demands of Bottineau and the surrounding areas. Over the past 27 years, we have developed relationships with people and businesses from Langdon, to Minot, and everywhere in between.
We built Mikkelsen Aggregates with the belief that the customer’s interest is the number one priority, and strive to be the best at what we do. We have experienced drivers and later-model trucks that are well maintained.
Our equipment includes 6 dozers ranging from a 450 John Deere up to a D8T Cat. We also have 8 loaders ranging in size from a 3 yard 930H to a 7 yard 980H. Our 4 excavators range from a little mini hoe, all the way up to a 330DL Cat. We also have a couple of skid steers with a wide variety of attachments – broom, auger, brush cutter, trencher, concrete hammer, smooth drum packer, and more. Our company has 8 tractors and 12 trailers including side dumps, belly dumps, drop deck lowboy, and rigid neck flatbeds. We also have 8 concrete trucks, and 6 dump trucks.
We make a variety of materials – with our crushing plant we make road base, crushed rock, recycled asphalt and redi-mix material. We also have a wash plant that washes the material for our redi-mix facility. Our team is friendly, professional, and ready to serve however we can to work with your individual needs!
